Our Pet Stories

I am proud and excited to share with you our completed pet stories and art work.  Each child wrote a descriptive piece about his/her pet.  We followed the writing process steps which took many days.  After a final edit, we went to the computer lab where the students got to type their final copy.  This took some determination and effort.  Mrs. Bando, our art teacher, worked with them on their drawings.  She devoted several lessons on this project.  Wow!  The art work is fabulous!  Then, Mrs. Craig, our computer technology teacher recorded the students reading their stories and loaded them onto a site called Voice Thread.  Mrs. Craig also helped with the text and pictures.  This was definitely a collaboration between the students and three teachers.  Click on this link to see the final presentation.
